U.S. PIRG Staff
Michael Landis is Litigation Director for U.S. PIRG. He oversees all litigation in which the organization is involved and is responsible for all aspects of litigation.
Prior to joining U.S. PIRG in 2016, Mr. Landis was a litigator in private practice and handled a variety of disputes in state and federal courts. Mr. Landis clerked in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the Appellate Division of the New Jersey Superior Court. He is admitted to practice in Colorado, New York, and New Jersey.
Mr. Landis graduated cum laude from the Fordham University School of Law in 2011. While in law school, he was a member of the Stein Scholars public interest law program, and he received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. He is also a graduate of Colorado College, where he majored in Comparative Literature and Spanish. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras.
Mr. Landis is based in Denver, Colorado.
