U.S. PIRG Staff
Laura Murray became U.S. PIRG's Consumer Associate in August 2013. She is based in Washington, D.C. and works to promote consumer protection across the country.
Prior to coming to D.C., Ms. Murray worked as the Program Associate for Georgia PIRG in Atlanta. She ran campaigns across the state to improve transparency in government spending, to close corporate tax loopholes, and to reclaim our democracy by getting big money out of politics. She was quoted in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and appeared on radio shows across the state.
Ms. Murray graduated from The College of William and Mary in 2012 with a degree in Public Policy and American Studies.
