Crack down on corruption in Congress

The current system is broken.  Overseeing one's own colleagues is difficult under any circumstances, but oversight in a charged partisan environment like the U.S. Congress is impossible.

Please take a moment to call your congressperson to ask them to support an independent watchdog. You can reach your representative at 202-224-3121. If you don't know who your representative is, that's OK. When you call, tell the operator your zip code and they'll connect you to the right office.

Here's a sample message you can leave:
 "Hi my name is _____ and I'm calling from ________. With all the recent scandles in Washington I urge you to make ethics a high priority.  Please support non-partisan, independent and professional enforcement of the rules."
