We can't let the CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (pictured at right) call new financial rules a "populist overreaction."

Urge your representative and senators to co-sponsor legislation to establish a Consumer Financial Protection Agency.

Call your Congressional Representatives to Urge Support for Federal Reserve Transparency

The Federal Reserve is passing out trillions of dollars on top of the $700 billion in bailout money. And they are able to do this without an appropriation from Congress and behind closed doors.

Please call your senator and representative to urge transparency and accountability for how this money is spent.

You can reach your senator and representative by calling the congressional switchboard at 202-224-3121. Just tell the operator your zip code, and they will connect you.

Here's a message you can leave for your senator: “Hello, my name is _________, and I live in _________. I am calling to urge Senator _________ to support and co-sponsor S. 513 in the Senate. American taxpayers want more transparency and accountability around how the Federal Reserve spends
trillions of dollars to help ailing institutions."

Here's a message you can leave for your representative: “Hello, my name is _________, and I live in _________. I am calling to urge Representative  _________ to support HR 1207 in the House. American taxpayers want more transparency and accountability around how the Federal Reserve spends
trillions of dollars to help ailing institutions."

Then, please report your call below, so we can keep track of how many calls are made.
