Liz Perry joined U.S. PIRG's Central Field Team in Washington, D.C. in June of 2009. As a Field Associate, Liz works on multiple issues, including making healthcare more affordable, increasing high speed rail funding, and modernizing our voter registration system. Prior to joining U.S.PIRG, Liz was a field organizer for the Democratic Farmer Labor Party in Minnesota. In May of 2008 Liz graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work with a minor in Ethnic and Cultural Studies from Illinois State University.
