Background

Kevin Leppmann is Internet Organizer for U.S. PIRG and the state PIRGs. A graduate of Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) and the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (Ottawa, ON), he has taught courses in political economy, psychology, social theory and international relations at Harvard, M.I.T. and Boston College. Before joining PIRG, he worked for ten years as a data specialist for Verizon Business, and in 2008, he helped unionize the VzB New York-New England operations groups under the IBEW/CWA. He is also a prolific musician and founder of the annual HONK! Festival of activist street bands in Somerville, MA.
